Mushrooms

Lion’s mane mushroom (pom pom blanc)

The lion’s mane mushroom owes its name – as one might expect – to its peculiar shape and soft-haired exterior. The French name ‘pom pom blanc’ refers even more directly to the appearance of the mushroom: the round balls are reminiscent of cheerleaders’ pom-poms.

Furthermore, gourmets compare the exceptional flavour of this mushroom to that of lobster! This sweet, refined taste really comes to the fore when it is used in combination with other mushrooms or as a meat substitute in vegetarian dishes.

If you want a super tasty meal as well as a super healthy one, then the lion’s mane is a perfect addition. This mushroom is rich in potassium and phosphorus. Potassium promotes a healthy blood pressure and phosphorus a good energy balance.
